Since March 2024 I have been working with OptiLegX® worldwide. Being a specialist in equine surgery (Dipl. ECVS) and sports medicine (Dipl. ACVSMR), the device is helping me in many aspects.

First of all, we use it for preparing and recovering the sport horses during competitions, from racing to endurance and jumping/dressage horses, and we are starting to use it in racing and beauty camels as well. Furthermore, it has a great veterinary value. Thick legs due to climate (the Middle East) or infectious causes/lymphangitis are solved in a couple of sessions due to the pneumatic working action.

In my opinion, it is the device of the future to improve the career of a sport horse or camel and helps the veterinarian with issues as lymphangitis, laminitis or any pathology caused by poor blood circulation or lymphatic drainage. Blood and lymph circulation are the keys to performing at a high level.

OptiLegX® is convenient and quick to use! You have two sleeves that are attached to the horse's legs with a zipper, then you connect the tubes, which are attached to the sleeves, to a box that is attached to the horse's back with a strap. I especially like to use OptiLegX® during recovery after intensive training and competitions to promote blood circulation in the legs, you will really notice the results. Fluid retention occurs in the legs due to reduced blood circulation. By using OptiLegX® , these fluid retentions are reduced because OptiLegX® promotes blood circulation. I notice that when I use OptiLegX® , the legs become thinner again more quickly.
